support in dealing with the loss of my boat. Please forgive me if I don't mention your name, but those few days are all still a blur to me.

Many thanks to all the mini skippers who offered their help, especially Elaine Chua, Stephan Bonvin, Clay Burkhalter, Nacho Orti, Hugo Ramon, and Gerard Marin. Many of the locals from Horta contirbuted to the salvage and helped me upon my arrival including Joao, Pedro Menezes Rosa, Nuno Santos, and Armando Castro. All the representatives of the Class Mini Organization, especially Antoine Grau and Annabelle Moreau, the entire Azores Race Organization, Michel Mirabel and members of the Club Naval da Horta.

During the entire summer racing season I enjoyed the comraderie of the Mini Class, but only in Horta did I realize just how strong the Mini Spirit is and how much genuine respect everone has for each other. It's more than fast boats that make the Mini Class great, it's the people who sail them and support them.
