A major milestone in the qualification program is now complete. All sailors hoping to qualify for the 2007 Mini Transat, as well as the  2006 Les Sables d'Olonne - Les Açores - Les Sables d'Olonne, must complete at least one single-handed race. Given the importance of completing the course, all the sailors were grateful to the organizers and the Classe Mini for allowing a shortened course, rather than cancelling the event.
